Central Procurement Engineering and Stores Unit.

This office is the central procuring and maintenance entity and is assigned with responsibilities of procurement, installation and maintenance of all CNS and electro- mechanical equipment and systems, commissioning and calibration of all operating navaids, as well as storing of equipment and spares. This makes the unit to publish tender advertisements and tender related documents and circulars, and notifications. It also has a service process for contractor enlistment.

1.

Purchase, Installation, Repair and Maintenance of Communication, Navigation and Security Equipment’s including RADAR at Airports in the country.

2.

Purchase, Supply and Installation of different types of Electrical goods/ spare parts as well as Fire fighting vehicles, Air conditioning machines, Rescue vehicles for all Airports/Units.

3.

Purchase and Store of Spare parts of Communication, Navigation and Security Equipment’s and Perform the Flight Calibration Work every year at different Airports.

4.

Sell different types of Unserviceable Equipment’s/Spare parts (Vehicles, Communication, Navigation, Security and Electrical Equipment’s) by auction.

5.

Follow the Public Procurement Act-2006 and Public Procurement Rules-2008   to perform the above-mentioned works.
